See the ISSC website for instructions: http://www.issc.leidenuniv.nl/wireless-access/handleidingen-wireless-access.html#eduroam. You should log in to eduroam using your ULCN username and password. These are the same as you use for blackboard and the inkoopapplicatie. The Huygens building has no eduroam but the Gorleaus does so you can test if it works for you there.

As a mac user, you probably would like to be able to use the 10th floor printer with your favorite OS. The procedure is as follows :

• open the print and fax section in the preference panel
• click on the little plus at the bottom of what should be your printer list (i.e. : add a new printer)
• select the advanced pannel (a gear in the toolbar. If it is not there, no panic, you have to right-click on the toolbar and select “customize toolbar”, then click and drag the gear in the toolbar).
• in the “type” menu, scroll and select “Windows”
• then the url field should start with “ smb:// ”. Fill it as follows :

smb:// usr : pwd @data01.physics.leidenuniv.nl/grm_hl_k1001_color

• usr and pwd are respectively the username and password of your physics account (without the spaces)
• the column (':') between usr and pwd HAS to be here
• YES you have to write your password. But none can see it after (well, I think…)
• Scroll the “Print Using” menu down to “Select Printer Model…”, a “printer Software” window should pop up
• select “HP Color Laserjet 2020 series with Duplexer” and close the popup
• click on “add” (in the main add printer window)
• You are DONE !!!

Download the Pylon software for the Basler camera:

  Go to website http://www.baslerweb.com/products/ace.html?model=336
  Go to the tap ‘Downloads’
  Scroll down to you see ‘Pylon for Windows’
 Download ‘Pylon 3.2.3. SDK for Windows 64 bit’
 Download ‘Install and Setup Guide (V7)…’

-Remove old Basler software and run the Pylon 3.2.3 SDK software you just downloaded. -After installation of the Pylon software connect the camera -Turn off firewall of the Ethernet connection belonging to the camera (page 36 – 38 of the Setup Guide) -Modify the Network adapter, change ‘Jumbo Frames’ from ‘Gige/Ethernet’ to ‘all connection’: Open the Network Connections window Right click on the name of the connection for your network adapter, and select Properties from the context menu

  	Click the Configure... button. A controller properties window will open. 
  	Click on the Advanced tab. Select the following parameters in the Property group and set their 
  	values in the Value group
  	Set Jumbo Frames parameter to ‘all connections’.
